Description: This print comes from a collection of photographs by the art photographer Shoichido Kurihara, of which many were signed by him or had his red hanko stamp on the reverse. Additionally, a few of his prints had photo competition certificates affixed to the backs from the Ashiya Camera Club (ACC). The print offered here is one of these ACC prints. Kurihara was a talented commercial photographer active in Tokyo in the 1930s and 1940s and did many artistic views of city life.

This print shows Japanese war bonds from World War II with the center bond dated December, 1942 (Showa year '17).

Condition: print is in very good condition but has a a small ding in the lower left corner.
